This month, we had the pleasure of hosting a Japanese Whisky Panel in New York, following similar events in Paris and London. Led by distinguished whisky writer Robin Robinson – author of The Complete Whiskey Course: A Comprehensive Tasting School in Ten Classes – the evening brought together some of the most influential voices and masters of Japanese whisky, including Shinji Fukuyo, Chief Blender of The House of Suntory, Hiromi Ozaki, Senior Blender at Nikka, and Jota Tanaka, Master Blender at Kirin. The conversations delved into Japanese whisky’s rich heritage, meticulous craft and forward-looking innovation, while underscoring a unified message about reinforcing transparency, quality and standards, and the category's remarkable global trajectory.
