The Arizona Department of Administration’s Risk Management Division was one of three winners of the 2025 Workers’ Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence during the Workers’ Compensation Institute’s conference in August. Serving around 87,000 employees across the state, the Risk Management Division has utilized continuous improvement methods to make workplaces safer and has offered personalized services to injured workers. Through their new program, employees injured at work now have access to a 24-hour nurse triage service, as well being able to process workers’ compensation through payroll, skipping the delays and potential for lost or stolen paper check.
