EMS is evolving from an emergency response service to a critical connector within the broader healthcare ecosystem. By linking patients to chronic, acute, and community-based resources, EMS clinicians help build sustainable, value-driven systems of care. As Eric Beck, President & CEO of ESO, explains on The Leadership Lab with Asbel Montes, integrating EMS into the continuum of care requires: Collaboration across hospitals, primary care, and community providers Intentional data sharing to identify needs and close gaps Sustainable models that drive better outcomes and resource efficiency 💬 How can healthcare leaders expand EMS’s role as a strategic connector in value-based care models?

EMS is more than emergency response. It’s the bridge connecting patients, providers, and communities. 🚑 From acute to chronic care, EMS clinicians play a crucial role in closing gaps and linking people to the right resources, especially in communities where access is limited. But real impact happens when EMS becomes part of a broader, intentional care ecosystem that includes public health, primary care, and community-based providers. 🎙️ Hear Eric Beck, DO, MPH, President & CEO of ESO, on The Leadership Lab with Asbel Montes as he explores how EMS can drive value, improve outcomes, and build stronger community connections. 💬 How can healthcare systems better integrate EMS into the continuum of care?

Just read our latest blog "Understanding Affiliated Hospitals: Boosting Patient Care and Delivery" which reveals how strategic hospital affiliations transform healthcare delivery. Hospital affiliations create powerful networks that: • Enhance access to specialized services and advanced technologies • Foster better care coordination across treatment journeys • Enable resource sharing that improves clinical outcomes • Create collaborative environments for healthcare providers For healthcare organizations looking to maximize these partnerships, focus on: • Building robust communication pathways between facilities • Implementing integrated care models that reduce fragmentation • Leveraging shared resources to expand service offerings • Regularly monitoring outcomes to identify improvement areas These strategic connections don't just improve operational efficiency—they fundamentally enhance patient experiences and health outcomes. https://lnkd.in/dQSREAv2 #HealthcareDelivery #HospitalAffiliations #PatientCare #MedicareData #HealthcareAnalytics

In Becker’s Payer Issues webinar, “Care is shifting home - but most organizations aren't ready,” healthcare leaders explored what it really takes to move more care into the home and the growing opportunities and challenges. Matrix Medical Network CEO Catherine Tabaka shared an important perspective: “When it comes to opportunities in the healthcare market, it’s best to first start with the patient themselves and reeducating who’s who and what position they play – from health plans to in-home health assessments. Education and trust need to be reestablished in the healthcare system first. The one major opportunity is how do we stitch the pieces together so that whether in rural or urban areas, care can be accessed and consumed the appropriate way, the right order, right sequence and shift further towards preventative health versus the high-cost curative care that we practice and know in the US.” Listen to the webinar here to learn more about in-home care advancements, opportunities, challenges and more https://lnkd.in/evc9pKGU

As CMS rolls out new payment models, health systems are rethinking how to improve outcomes while keeping costs in check. Prisma Health is already getting ahead. They knew success meant reaching every patient with timely, effective outreach, without adding more work to already stretched teams. Since implementing CipherOutreach in late 2023, Prisma Health has connected with 615,000+ patients across 19 hospitals via calls and texts, improving response times, clinical engagement, and workflow alignment across the system. The program combines automation with nurse-led intervention, addressing exactly the priorities CMS is looking forward: → Preventing avoidable readmissions through structured post-discharge follow-up → Shifting care toward outcomes, not volume → Meeting quality targets that protect hospital financial stability With readmission penalties tightening and new payment models on the horizon, systems that proactively support high-risk patients will lead in both outcomes and efficiency. Prisma Health is already showing what that future looks like, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.

The healthcare industry in 2025 continues to be a challenging space for physicians — with growing administrative, financial, and regulatory pressures reshaping how care is delivered. That’s why it’s an honor to see Articularis Healthcare Group (AHG) featured in Becker’s Physician Leadership among the “5 Things Looking Up for Physicians.” The article recognizes AHG’s innovative model — built to preserve the independence of community rheumatologists while providing the scale, infrastructure, and resources needed to thrive in today’s complex healthcare landscape. At AHG, our mission is simple: empower physicians to stay independent and focus on what matters most — patient care. 🔗 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eBMrmyhn #ArticularisHealthcare #Rheumatology #IndependentPractice #PhysicianLeadership #HealthcareInnovation #BeckersHealthcare #RheumatologyCare #HealthcareLeadership

An interesting read from a CRA’s perspective. The merging of ICBs and the rise of integrated neighbourhood teams mark a significant shift in the NHS structure. For those of us working closely with NHS sites within clinical research, it’s a reminder that future success may well hinge on how well we understand local dynamics, build meaningful partnerships, and stay agile in an increasingly complex landscape #NHS #ClinicalTrials #ResearchDelivery
