Share Chat opportunity was something completely different. It had the same level of scale, ambition and goals as some of the previous global company I had worked with, but with fewer resources, which for me actually meant more exciting problem statements to solve. It also gave me the opportunity to come and explore a new market which allowed me to connect with some of the best AI talent across the world and really let me contribute to building a world class AI team. Hierarchy. So for me it was a no brainer. Join in you know the Indias largest homegrown social media company. Working from London, I guess solid 5 hours overlap with the team in India and I tried to use this time as wisely as possible. So this is where I go ahead and have my 1 to 1 connects, team meetings, any deep dive work that I need to do with the team, I try to utilize those hours. But you know, the communication doesn't stop just because they've gone offline as well. So when they do go offline, this is where I'll continue async communication, so. I've never really felt the distance in our time as the collaboration is always going. One of the key differentiators for me, you know, from a large organization versus shared chat is I suppose large organizations tend to have more of a structured processes that you have to follow, which typically leads to longer decision making, which comes with its pros and cons. But here at Shared out, we definitely move fast. So we can go ahead and, you know, brainstorm new ideas and, and it can actually be in deployment or. Would be executed within days, and that's something I really, really value. What keeps you feeling part of Shared Chad? You know, all the way from London. It's just really how transparent and inclusive the company is. Everyone here communicates quite openly, quite honestly. Everyone's winds are celebrated. And everyone's input is really valued, so this just makes my remote work in here a bit more meaningful and a bit more connected. Hello, has changed over the last three years here at Share Chat. I think some of the things that have remained constant during my time here is our desire to want to interview, innovate, our desire to continue building, you know, world class AI for India. What has improved is definitely better collaboration. We definitely meet up more often in person and so you know, more team socials. Quarterly office meetups, frequent visits to India, and this has allowed us to continue to just have a stronger culture here at Sheta. There are so many reasons why someone should join share chat and if I could name a few, it would be First of all, you'll be coming in and shaping how India you know, connects online. And as we all race towards, you know, getting the 1st 1 billion users in India online, you'll be at the forefront of this and directly contributing towards this. The second is the scale that we operate in. Our scale is huge, you know, similar to global international companies like Twitter, but it's within the India market, so you can already see the impact you can have. So one of your models that you deploy into production could easily impact millions of users. And we're really proud of some of the tech developments we've done in India, including building one of the first recommender systems. And so you'll be joining a world class AI team. And you know, contribute to shaping how India connects online.

𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮. AI, automation and creative intelligence are redefining how brands win on Meta right now.

𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗿𝗮: 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀
𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮 = 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲, 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆.
• But not just more ads — smarter ones. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗡𝗔: 𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚, 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩, 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚, 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆. So there is no need to test everything, focus on the ideas that truly drive performance. Start with solid research and insights about audience, competitors, and market.
• Also, 𝗴𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. Meta’s AI performs best when it has room to learn. Overly narrow targeting limits optimisation and scale.
⸻
𝟮. 𝗔𝗜’𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲: 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴
“AI never does the thinking.” It speeds up insight extraction, automates the mundane, and scales expertise.
Use AI for:
• Research (reviews, comments, competitor ads)
• Script and hook generation
• Asset variation (B-roll, lifestyle imagery, UGC formatting)
• Reporting and iteration
⸻
𝟯. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲
• Build massive B-roll libraries and hook variations.
• Integrate all brand touchpoints, such as PR, organic, paid, into one creative strategy.
• Use partnership ads and shared digital asset libraries to connect teams and boost efficiency.
• Buy the rights to your best creative, renting limits scale.
⸻
𝟰. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺
• Every brand needs one creative system serving all channels.
• Email, Meta, search, and ChatGPT search now intersect. First-party data is central again.
• AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) is disrupting Google’s dominance. So, brands must manage how they appear inside AI environments.
⸻
𝟱. 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆
• “There’s always a smarter, faster, better way.”
• Empower individuals to innovate. “Don’t tell people what’s possible; let them show you.”
• The brands that win aren’t those that make the most ads, but those that learn the fastest and apply AI where it matters most.
⸻
Such an inspiring session. A great perspective on how brands can truly grow on Meta smarter, faster, and with AI at the core.
I hope this short summary was helpful. If it was, feel free to like 👍
Last week we hosted our annual Webprofits x Meta Masterclass at Meta HQ in Sydney, talking about one thing:
👉 How to win on Meta in the age of AI.
The short answer?
The brands that win won’t be the ones making the most ads - they’ll be the ones that learn the fastest.
AI isn’t about more. It’s about smarter systems, sharper insights and faster learning cycles.
If you couldn't make it, you can watch the full masterclass replay here and hear from the incredible Ben Fitzpatrick Jay Assaad @Robyn Enciso and Joel West:

Thanks as always to the legends at Meta, Kristy Barclay-Allen and Joel West for a fantastic morning and for hosting us!
Excited to share a little something we've been working on at Meta with HuggingFace + many other AI startups and labs: OpenEnv - frontier-grade RL environments for the open-source community.
https://lnkd.in/eAx36C_R
This framework/spec is derived from a year of building environments and execution infra to support AI teams at Meta (FAIR/GenAI and now MSL).
Next step: allow anyone to create, package, and share environments on the Hugging Face Env Hub and keep working on the spec together with the community - interested in helping checkout our RFCs: https://lnkd.in/eUHBagwg

Meta is now letting job candidates use AI—yes, even during coding interviews. Sounds shocking? Not if you think about how real engineers already work. They use Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and more every day. So why pretend interviews should be different?
Meta’s new game is testing not just your coding ability, but how you work with AI. Can you prompt clearly? Can you refine, debug, and harness the best outputs? It’s not about memorizing leetcode questions or grinding DSA for years. The truth: AI can write a binary search faster than any human—but only you know when to use it, and why.
This is the new reality: understanding fundamentals trumps brute force memorization. “AI in the room” isn’t a question. AI is the room now. So if Meta is open about it, why are millions still grinding edge cases instead of building real expertise?
Would you be ready to interview with AI as your partner? Drop your thoughts or tag a friend who needs to break free from old-school hustle!
