5 simple, playful ways to make storytime more engaging for every child! Reading together is about creating moments of joy, safety, imagination and connection. When children are curious and involved, their comprehension, language skills, imagination and overall learning deepen. The simple routine of reading together can offer comfort, connection and a sense of safety, especially in times of uncertainty. Creative, playful activities like acting, drawing or inventing new endings help children process emotions and express themselves, and when stories are inclusive and culturally relevant, every child can feel seen, valued and understood.
