Big news from ZapConnect 2025! Today we’re launching Action Runs! A new capability in Zapier’s Workflow API that lets workflow builders plug directly into the power grid of automation. ⚡️ Here’s why this matters: - SaaS platforms are investing in workflow builders, but building and maintaining integrations is resource intensive. - Users expect automation with the tools they already use, Slack, Google Sheets, Asana, and thousands more. - Until now, product teams had to choose between a limited roadmap or endless integration requests. Action Runs changes that. With just one integration, your workflow builder can now tap into Zapier’s 30,000+ actions across 8,000+ apps, all embedded directly in your product. 🔌 Zapier handles auth + maintenance ⚙️ You embed Zapier actions in your builder 🚀 Your users get powerful, native automations It’s like plugging your workflow builder into the automation grid. I’m sharing this live at ZapConnect today, but you can dive deeper in our docs and connect with the Powered by Zapier team to see how Action Runs can power your workflow builder. 👉 Zapier is the grid. Action Runs is the plug. Your workflow builder is about to get a whole lot stronger. https://lnkd.in/g7_faYMM

Zapier’s Multi-Step Workflows: The Real Game Changer! One thing I learned during our Zapier class last night is that automation isn’t just about connecting two apps; it’s about creating systems that think ahead. That’s where Multi-Step Workflows come in. Imagine this 👇 When a client fills out a form on your website: ➡ Zapier automatically adds their info to Airtable or Google Form ➡ Sends them a welcome email ➡ Notifies you on Slack ➡ Then update your Google Sheet report or Hubspot All that… from one trigger That’s the beauty of multi-step automation and what you can get using Zapier. Ticketing tools like Zendesk or Freshdesk are great… ... until you realize you’ve just added another platform to your already overloaded tech stack. More tools ≠ more efficiency. In fact, it often leads to: ⚡ Bottlenecks ⚡ Lost requests ⚡ Frustrated teams That’s why we recommend using ClickUp as an Internal Tickets Hub. All you need is the one platform, with consolidated workflows, and zero bloat. What’s one tool in your stack you know is creating more work than it saves?

This week in our automation session, we dived deeper into Zapier and it truly opened my eyes to how powerful automation can be. We explored features like: ⚙️ Filters – to control when a Zap should continue based on specific conditions. 🌐 Webhooks – to connect apps and systems that aren’t natively supported by Zapier. 🛤️ Paths – to create multiple outcomes or routes depending on different data inputs. 🔁 Formatter – to clean, format, and organize data automatically before sending it to the next step. These features allow us to design smart, flexible, and efficient workflows that save time and reduce manual errors. One key takeaway for me was how Filters and Webhooks can be used together to customize automation, for example, triggering a Slack alert only when a payment status is “Approved” or sending data to a custom app via Webhook when specific conditions are met. This experience has strengthened my confidence in building automation that truly works smarter, not harder! Are you spending more time managing your content than actually creating it? I was in the same position until I dedicated time to automation. I tested the two leading platforms, Zapier and Make (formerly Integromat), to see which one truly serves creators better. Here is a straightforward breakdown: Zapier is the best choice for simplicity and reliability. It is perfect for quick, linear automations that you can set up in minutes. Make is the tool for power and flexibility. Its visual interface is ideal for building complex, multi-step workflows with custom logic. I've published a detailed comparison on my Substack, including practical examples from my own content process, to help you choose the right tool for your needs. You can read the full analysis here: https://lnkd.in/g39BRP_s I'm curious to hear from others: Which automation platform do you prefer, Zapier or Make, and what has your experience been? #ContentCreation #Automation #Zapier #Make #Productivity #Workflow #NoCode #TechTools

Automate marketplace workflows without writing a single line of code 🚀 With Sharetribe's Zapier integration, you can automate tasks and workflows without coding. Connect your marketplace to thousands of common third-party apps by building Zaps and streamline admin tasks and add new functionality for your users. Sharetribe has a great collection of Zap templates for automating common marketplace workflows, and we've recently added new ones: ⚡Approve users or set permissions automatically: Streamline user onboarding by automating user approval or granting permissions like posting or transaction rights based on user type (supply or demand). ⚡ Auto-approve users based on email domain: Build an exclusive marketplace for a company or institution by limiting access to a specific email domain. ⚡ Send smart reminders: Nudge sellers to complete their payout setup with a reminder email if they haven’t done it in a specific timeframe. And the best part? No technical skills required—just choose a template, add your marketplace information and criteria, and release the Zap: you’ve automated a task and made onboarding that much smoother for your users. Check out the newsletter and our Zapier template library in the comments for more info!

🚀 Automating Workflows with Zapier – A Game Changer! Over the past few weeks, I’ve been diving deep into workflow automation using Zapier — and honestly, it’s been a massive productivity boost. ⚡ I recently built a custom integration connecting WordPress forms, Mailchimp, and GoHighLevel using Zapier (and sometimes Pabbly as a mediator). Now, every time a new lead comes in, data is synced automatically — no more manual copy-paste or missed follow-ups. 🙌 Here’s what I’ve learned: ✅ Automation isn’t just about saving time — it’s about building consistency. ✅ With the right setup, you can scale operations without adding extra hands. ✅ Tools like Zapier help bridge the gap between apps that don’t “talk” to each other natively. If you’re not yet automating your workflows, now’s the time to start. Once you experience it, there’s no going back. 🔄 #Zapier #Automation #NoCode #WorkflowAutomation #Productivity #DigitalTools #Integration #TechTips
