PwC Malaysia’s Post

Inclusivity thrives through continuous learning and empathy. Last week, #TeamPwC took two steps forward, learning about accessibility and neuro‑inclusive hiring 🔍 In the Navigating Accessibility workshop led by Dialogue Includes All (Previously Dialogue in the Dark Malaysia) in collaboration with Alpro Pharmacy Sdn Bhd, we learnt through hands‑on experiences: understanding how wheelchairs function, reading Braille, and trying immersive activities that simulate life without sight. Our recruiters and managers also attended the Neuro‑inclusive Interviewing workshop—in collaboration with Yayasan GAMUDA's Enabling Academy—where we learned to recognise strengths and reduce biases in the hiring process. Some key learnings from both sessions: 💡Many of us may not realise that persons with disabilities (PWDs) and neurodivergent individuals are already part of our workplaces. Awareness is the first step towards true inclusion. 💡Accessibility is not just about ramps and elevators; it also includes digital tools, communication, and flexible work arrangements. When environments are designed to be accessible, barriers disappear, and everyone benefits. 💡Let’s focus on abilities, not limitations. With the right support, neurodivergent talent can thrive. Trust and bias reduction are key to creating safe spaces. Learn more about disability inclusion at PwC: https://pwc.to/3X9Sshk
