Public Storage’s industry-leading and nationally recognized Solar Program recently achieved a huge milestone with permission to operate received for our 1,000th solar installation at a property in Hawaii, where we installed our first Solar projects in 2014. Our Solar Program has officially come full circle, but we’re not stopping here, with a plan to install Solar at 1,300 properties across 25 states by 2026. It’s an amazing accomplishment that few companies have equaled and demonstrates Public Storage’s commitment to energy independence, reducing operating costs, and driving down our carbon footprint. This is a testament to the hard work of our incredible Solar Program team, their passion for what they do and the dedication they have to this program. It’s also made possible by our wide support system, from our internal and external partners to our vendors and consultants. Congratulations to you all, and here’s to 1,000 more!
