A friend asked me recently "If your 80 year old self visited you today, what's the one piece of advice he would give you?" I was waiting at a stoplight this morning on my way to Proven Recruiting and noticed this father walking his two sons to middle school and it nearly made me tear up. I used to think "I HAVE TO" drive the boys to school but now realizing it was "I GET TO" drive the boys to school and spend time with them. I miss those 20 minutes every morning. Sometimes the best job isn't the one that pays us monetarily but nurtures us emotionally. So, my answer is "Enjoy it while you can!"
