🚀 The 4 Stages of Oracle Fusion Data Migration Reconciliation Data migration is one of the most important (and challenging) parts of any Oracle Fusion implementation. Getting it right ensures accuracy, business trust, and a smooth go-live experience. At DataFusing, we help data migration consultants simplify this process with automation and real-time SQL insights through CloudSQL and CloudMigrate. Here’s a quick look at the 4 key stages of a successful Oracle Fusion data migration 👇 1️⃣ Data Extract Pull clean and complete data from your source systems. Always start by cleansing data early—fixing issues later only adds delays. 2️⃣ Data Validation & Transformation Validate data quality before loading into Oracle Fusion. Use SQL or PL/SQL to check completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Our CloudSQL Editor helps automate validation and lookup checks in minutes. 3️⃣ Data Load Load data into Oracle Fusion using HDL or FBDI templates. Automate this process with CloudMigrate to save time and reduce manual effort. 4️⃣ Reconciliation The final and most critical stage is verifying that all data in Fusion matches the source. Automated reconciliation ensures every record is complete, accurate, and business-approved. ✅ Pro Tip: Always treat reconciliation as part of your migration cycle, not an afterthought. It builds business confidence and ensures data integrity before go-live. 💡 Whether you’re managing a single data object or a full-scale enterprise migration, DataFusing CloudSQL and CloudMigrate help automate, validate, and reconcile Oracle Fusion data with speed and accuracy. 👉 Explore how CloudSQL can transform your data migration projects: https://lnkd.in/dBZYp2i #OracleFusion #DataMigration #CloudSQL #CloudMigrate #DataFusing #OracleCloud #DigitalTransformation

🗄️Oracle Fusion Application Composer – Finding Where Custom Object Data is Stored in the Database! Continuing from the previous post where we created REST-based web services for our Custom Object “Project”, this time I explored how to identify the exact table and columns where that data is stored in the Oracle Fusion database. Here’s what I covered in this step: 📂 Exited Sandbox and navigated directly to Application Composer. 📥 Downloaded the Excel file containing all custom object metadata. 🔍 Located the sheet for Project to see the table name and column names (highlighted in red) that store the corresponding field values (shown in green). 📊 This gives a clear view of how the Application Composer custom object connects to the backend data model in Oracle Fusion. This step helps bridge the gap between frontend configuration and backend data mapping, which is essential for technical consultants and integration developers working with Fusion Cloud Applications. 💬 If this helped you understand how data from Application Composer objects is stored behind the scenes, please Like ❤️, Comment 💬, and Repost 🔁 so others can learn too! 📢 Next up: “Understanding Types of Relationships in Application Composer” – exploring how objects connect and interact with each other inside Fusion! #OracleFusion #ApplicationComposer #FusionTechnical #ERPCloud #SCMCloud #OracleIntegration #CustomObject #Database #LearningJourney

🤝 Oracle Fusion Application Composer – Understanding Relationship Types! Continuing my learning journey in Oracle Fusion Application Composer, after exploring how to identify which database tables store our Custom Object data, I’ve now moved on to one of the most important concepts — Relationships. In this step, I explored the Parent-Child Relationship, which defines a One-to-Many link between two custom objects. Here’s what I covered: 🔹 Created a Child Object directly inside the “Project” custom object using the Create Child Object option. 🔹 Added required fields in the child object without creating separate pages (since it will appear within the parent object’s detail page). 🔹 Verified the setup in the UI (Springboard → Project → Detail Page), where the child object and its fields appeared under the parent record. This approach helps establish strong data connections, making your custom objects more dynamic and relational, similar to standard Fusion data models. 💬 If you found this helpful in understanding how Parent-Child relationships work in Application Composer, please Like ❤️, Comment 💬, and Repost 🔁 to help others learn too! 📢 Next up: “Dynamic Relationships in Oracle Fusion Application Composer” – Learn how to create flexible relationships that adapt to your data model needs! #OracleFusion #ApplicationComposer #OracleIntegration #FusionTechnical #ERPCloud #SCMCloud #CustomObject #RelationshipModel #LearningJourney
