There is a certain energy in Pittsburgh when innovators gather, and the Collaborative Robotics Leadership Roundtable made that clear from the first conversation. Hosted by Johnson Electric and ESTAT Actuation, the session brought together leaders from industrial robotics, humanoids, AMRs, robotic arms, and component manufacturers. Participants explored recent safety standards, emerging hardware options, and how these developments can enable faster, safer, and more cost-effective systems. Discussions covered hardware-driven safety, longevity, and performance, along with case studies that highlighted strategies for extending system life, reducing costs, increasing speed, and improving safety. Pittsburgh Robotics Network extends our thanks to the hosts, Kirby Witte and Adam Stienecker, for uniting such a broad spectrum of voices and creating space for meaningful collaboration. We are equally grateful to moderators Tasha Miller, Carlos Richardson, Ritch Ramey, Anthony Gioia, and Stuart Diller for guiding the conversation with clarity and intention and helping shape a productive and forward-looking dialogue. 👋 Join us next year to exhibit in 2026: https://buff.ly/iMbl5Kl Pittsburgh Robotics Network | Innovation Works | Robotics Factory | Allegheny Conference on Community Development | Pittsburgh Region. Thank you for inviting me to represent the A3 - Association for Advancing Automation the very informative event. It was an incredible group. I was very glad to have been able to participate with so many leaders in the robotics and automation community. Thank you Kirby Witte and Phoebe Gerst for organizing the event on robotic standards and the current trends. I appreciated the discussions on future safety considerations on mobile and humanoid robots.
Huge thank you to Adam Stienecker, Kirby Witte, and their respective teams for bringing their insights and experience to the literal table for this discussion. It allowed for really forthcoming conversations. Great job to everyone involved!
The conversation and discussions around standards and emerging trends were super insightful! Thank you so much for putting this together 🙌
