🌍 The World Health Organization has just released its 2025 Landscape Report on diagnostics for bacterial priority pathogens — a detailed look at where the world stands in the fight against antimicrobial resistance. The report maps a wide range of available and pipeline tools for detecting and testing bacterial infections, highlighting both innovation and the gaps that still hold global healthcare systems back. 🔍 One key takeaway: despite technological progress, there remains an urgent need for faster, more accessible phenotypic AST systems — especially those that can move testing closer to the point of care.
