Today, we’re announcing the launch of the Parallel Monitor API, the newest addition to our Web Agents API suite. Parallel Monitor can be thought of as a web search that’s always on: you define a query that kicks off an ongoing stream of updates every time new related information appears on the web. Instead of actively making a search for information, Parallel Monitor is passively watching the web for changes to notify you about. It’s available now to try for free in the Parallel developer playground. Read our blog for more information: https://lnkd.in/eh8UxgM4
Huge for building any proactive agent
Interesting
Parag Agarwal’s insights at recent Bright Data Web Discovery Summit captured how fast discovery economics are shifting as agents become primary consumers of web signal. Parallel Monitor lands directly in that space. It turns change detection into a push layer that aligns w/ panel’s focus on persistent context rather than periodic snapshots & need for new economic signals btw publishers & agents. This release feels like one of the first production-grade steps toward that future. My thoughts: https://linkedin.com/pulse/agent-economics-when-machines-become-primary-web-robert-schwentker-2zgff
Leading AI @ Bland
1wVery interesting, would be pretty crazy if it could reliably transform into structured data for easy ingestion. For example: I might want to look for "new funding announcements" and my response data is a json of company name, funding round, amount.
