I am excited to share that Owlet Baby Care is partnering with Rhapsody to bridge the gap between home and hospital care like never before! Through this integration, we’re securely connecting real-time infant vital signs from our FDA-cleared BabySat® pulse oximeter directly into electronic health records (EHRs). This means clinicians get seamless access to clinically validated data, empowering them to deliver better, more informed care—while giving parents peace of mind knowing their baby’s health insights are shared effortlessly with their care team. As I said in our announcement: “Our partnership with Rhapsody is another step forward in Owlet’s mission to redefine how infant data is integrated and used more effectively within the healthcare system. How do you know if your hormones are out of balance? This week on Cultivate CNY, we’re joined by Maria Gigante-Baggett MS, NP, OB/GYN. Maria is an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner with 29 years of experience, specializing in menopausal health and weight management. She is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Adult Nurse Practitioner Program. She currently practices with Crouse Medical Practice in OB/GYN and has recently launched a telehealth clinic focused on perimenopause, menopause, and weight management. In addition to her clinical work, Maria is a childbirth educator and a speaker for Organon Pharmaceuticals, where she trains fellow clinicians on the use and placement of the contraceptive implant, Nexplanon. Maria also serves as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner students and will be joining the faculty at Le Moyne College this fall as an adjunct professor in the Nurse Practitioner program. Improving within-the-hour administration of antibiotics in critically unwell neonates.” ⏱️💉 This project tackles a vital challenge in neonatal care: ensuring timely antibiotic delivery for babies at highest risk of sepsis. Delays in treatment can have life-threatening consequences, and this project exemplifies how structured quality improvement can lead to safer, faster, and more effective care for our smallest patients. Cardi B is right?!? Screen time for kids has been a contentious issue. What is right, what is wrong, what types of shows to watch? It's not easy. Especially with you are a single parent, have many children, limited support or just need a break. 📺📺📺📺📺📺 The Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) does have guidelines on what you can do to minimize screen time. At the end of the day, do your best!
