The Data Centre Boom, and the clamour for a piece of the pie. 🥧 The data centre world just keeps expanding, and with it, the number of companies moving into the space. It makes sense. High growth, a critical need for compute, power, cooling, maintenance, real estate… the list goes on. It’s exciting to see manufacturers adapting their products and services to get a slice of the pie, power (pun intended) to them! And it’s not just the manufacturers. I’ve been recruiting in the data centre industry for around 18 months now, and in that time, I’ve built some fantastic relationships with candidates and clients alike. It’s also been fascinating to watch more recruiters, and entire agencies pivot their focus toward this sector, all chasing trying to fill the bottomless talent chasm that only grows deeper, it's tough, but we are trying! Healthy competition is good for everyone (or at least, I hope so!). Just an observation from someone who’s had a front-row seat to the shift. Curious to hear, how are you seeing the data centre boom impact your corner of the industry? #DataCentre #Compute #AI #Tranformation #DecentMeme? #Recruitment

🔧 From Backroom to Boardroom: The Rise of IT Infrastructure as a Business Engine 🚀 César Cernuda, President of NetApp, puts it powerfully: “IT infrastructure is no longer a behind-the-scenes function—it’s the engine of business innovation and real-time intelligence.” In today’s data-driven world, infrastructure isn’t just about keeping the lights on. It’s about enabling AI-powered decisions, real-time insights, and agile innovation. At NetApp, we’re seeing this transformation firsthand—where intelligent data management and cloud-first strategies are helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. 💡 Whether it’s generative AI, predictive analytics, or cyber resilience, the foundation lies in smart infrastructure. Let’s stop thinking of IT as a cost center. It’s a growth center. #DigitalTransformation #AI #CloudComputing #NetApp #Innovation #Leadership #CesarCernuda #TechTrends #DataDriven #InfrastructureMatters

🚀 Infrastructure is no longer the backdrop—it’s the engine. By Cesar Cernuda, President of NetApp We’ve entered a new era where infrastructure isn’t just about keeping the lights on. It’s about powering intelligence, enabling real-time decisions, and unlocking innovation at scale. 📈 IDC projects the global AI infrastructure market will surpass $200B by 2028. Why? Because businesses now demand more than reliability—they expect infrastructure to fuel AI, drive agility, and deliver smarter outcomes. At NetApp, we see this shift every day. The most forward-thinking organizations are reimagining infrastructure as a strategic advantage. They’re not just storing data—they’re activating it. Here’s what sets leaders apart: 1️⃣ Resilience by Design – Systems that anticipate threats and recover fast. 2️⃣ Operational Efficiency at Scale – Clean data, streamlined workflows, and room to grow. 3️⃣ Real-Time Adaptability – Infrastructure that flexes with the market. 4️⃣ Strategic Visibility – Insights that empower proactive decisions. 💡 The future belongs to those who treat data as a catalyst—not a byproduct. Intelligent infrastructure is how we get there. Let’s stop thinking of infrastructure as the foundation. It’s the launchpad. #AI #DataDriven #DigitalTransformation #NetApp #Infrastructure #Leadership #CIO #Innovation #CesarCernuda #FutureOfBusiness #TechLeadership #SmartInfrastructure #AIInfrastructure #BusinessStrategy #CloudComputing #EdgeToCore

Today, we launched our AlixPartners 2026 Data Center Market Outlook. Our survey of 400+ senior executives reveals a striking paradox: 86% expect data center valuations to remain high, yet 61% anticipate industry distress ahead. As I discussed with Reshmi Basu at Bloomberg, with Meta's recent $30 billion bond drawing record $125 billion in orders, capital is flooding into AI infrastructure. But I note: "There will be winners, but there will also be those who overwhelm themselves. Data centers require a lot of money and at some point, investors will want to see results from returns on their investment." The risks are real—rising energy costs, supply chain constraints, and mounting questions about whether current demand aligns with future needs. The winners will balance growth ambitions with disciplined capital allocation. Check out the Bloomberg article below and read our report: https://lnkd.in/evYNGh-e

We recently spoke with Bloomberg on one of the most timely topics shaping AI Infrastructure industry. When capital is abundant, efficiency often declines. Despite strong overall demand and capacity, structural mismatches — AI workloads shift, data & scaling challenges, energy & supply chain constraints, and ROI expectations — can introduce new risks. With unprecedented investment chasing AI infrastructure, the need for careful evaluation of ROI expectations, securitization structures, and GPU/leasing models has never been greater. We’ve just completed a deep-dive Data Center Outlook report, which will be available soon. Sign up here to receive a complimentary copy: https://lnkd.in/ebvkWiMY
