CIPP lining provides a cost-effective and long-term method of rehabilitating ageing or deteriorated pipeline infrastructure without excavation. It forms a jointless, structural liner inside the existing pipe, effectively creating a new pipe within the host structure. This method offers significant infrastructure benefits. It restores full flow capacity, seals cracks and joints, prevents root intrusion and groundwater infiltration, and eliminates the need for full pipe replacement. CIPP reduces service disruption to roads, buildings, and utilities located above or near the pipeline, making it ideal for urban, industrial and environmentally sensitive areas. Insituform’s liners undergo up to 28 individual quality checks before delivery to the site. Designed to suit gravity or pressure pipelines, the solution helps extend asset life by 50 years or more, all while reducing carbon emissions and the long-term burden on capital budgets. #Insituform #CIPP #InfrastructureRenewal #TrenchlessTechnology #PipelineRehabilitation #AssetManagement

What we like about Concrete Pressure Pipe (CPP); it has demonstrated long-term performance and structural reliability when installed according to industry standards in a wide range of natural environments. The high alkalinity of hydrated cement, typically between pH 12.5 and 13.5, facilitates the formation of a passivating oxide layer on embedded steel surfaces, significantly reducing the risk of electrochemical corrosion. In environments with extreme corrosivity (e.g., high sulfate soils, aggressive groundwater), additional protective measures such as coatings, wraps, or cathodic protection systems can be specified. Myth: Pipe bursting is too disruptive to use in built-up areas. Fact: When properly planned, pipe bursting can be executed with minimal surface disturbance and limited impact to surrounding infrastructure. Rather than digging up an entire street, PW Trenchless uses a bursting rig and HDPE pipe to fracture and replace the existing line underground. This method may reduce: 🔹 Surface excavation 🔹 Haul-away and backfill volumes 🔹 Traffic and community disruption As with any trenchless approach, the success depends on site conditions, pipe material, and alignment, but when it fits, pipe bursting can be a cost-effective and low-disruption solution.

When installing sheet piles shoring, many often then sheet piles may not interlock properly which could result in significant water leak through joints. This could compromise the shoring excavation and lead to ground subsidence near the shoring. Using Geobear water sealing solution, we can stop these leakages effectively in a short period. See how our hydro-insenstive material can stop a high pressure water leakage in the video below. Geobear Global #innovation #waterleakage #shoring

A Manitoba building was facing persistent groundwater leaks in its underground elevator pit, leading to corrosion and safety concerns. Using geotechnical polyurethane injection, Poly-Mor permanently sealed active leaks from inside the pit—without excavation or downtime. The fast-reacting resin expanded to displace water, seal cracks, and form a durable, watertight barrier. The result: a dry, stable, and long-lasting elevator pit restored to full integrity with minimal disruption and cost.

Restoring Watertightness — Rust Bond x FibaRoll Trial 💧 We recently carried out a sample trial using Rust Bond as a primer for FibaRoll, applied directly onto corroded steel sheets prepared only by hand tools. This concept is being developed for use across offshore and onshore environments — particularly on bulkheads, roofs, and other weather-exposed areas where corrosion and water ingress are persistent challenges. The aim is simple: to restore watertightness and extend the life of structural assets without the need for full blasting or major surface preparation. You can even see in the video that when struck with a chisel, the 2mm FibaRoll laminate fails within itself before any sign of disbondment — a great early indicator of bond strength. Early results are very promising — strong adhesion, excellent wetting, and a sealed surface capable of resisting further corrosion. It’s still early days, but this combination of Rust Bond + FibaRoll shows real potential for providing a fast, durable repair system where traditional repairs cost time and money. If you would like to see part 2 of the video drop me a message. #fibatech #fibaroll #rustbond #corrosionprotection #watertight #assetintegrity #offshore #onshore #maintenance #innovation #grplining #composites
