Following a packed CreatorFest main stage session with Tinder and Beiersdorf, Mark Murray Jones sat down for an exclusive interview with Hello Partner to explore how strategic, creative, and cultural integration can help brands and creators work more closely together. “Creators shouldn’t sit separate from the main marketing mix; they need to be accepted as part of it. Once that happens, the culture and behaviours around marketing start to shift in really exciting ways.” - Mark Murray Jones, OMD. To create what’s next, Mark highlighted how curiosity and mutual understanding between brands and creators unlock new opportunities, even in traditionally cautious categories. #WeCreateWhatsNext #CreatorFest #Interview

StoryMining is our discovery process for uncovering what makes your brand truly unique. Through thoughtful, conversational interviews with key stakeholders, we identify the values, moments, and emotions that define your organization for the audiences it serves. Why it matters: ▪️ Builds alignment early, ensuring every leader and partner has a shared foundation before design begins. ▪️ Grounds sponsor activations in authentic purpose to reveal not just what a brand does, but why it matters to fans and communities. ▪️ It’s not a formal interview, but a genuine dialogue. Our story team tailors each session to the individual, fostering meaningful, enjoyable conversations that surface real insight. We’ve conducted thousands of StoryMining interviews, and every one reinforces this truth: the most powerful experiences begin with understanding. Hiring the right people matters more than hiring fast. Squeeze recently hosted college recruiting events that brought in more than 200 applicants, but only six or seven were accepted. That level of selectivity reflects a commitment to quality over quantity and to finding people who will represent partners the right way. In the past 30 days, more than 188 hires came from a pipeline that’s double that in interviews. The recruiting team works tirelessly to find the right fit, never settling for whoever says yes first. It is about finding driven, reliable people who raise the bar for everyone around them. Are you focused on hiring quickly, or hiring the right people? NEWSFLASH: Your best performer just quit. And nobody saw it coming. 🚪 Here's what they won't tell you in the exit interview: "I delivered everything asked of me. But the promotions went to the people who talked about their work, not the people doing it." These folks are your quiet achievers. The ones who prefer depth over spotlight. Who listen more than they speak. Who solve problems before they become fires. 🦸 Linda Raynier CPA, CA calls them "the backbone of organizations", and guess what? They're leaving. Our recognition systems are built for performance... of performance. We promote the loudest voices. We reward visibility over value. We mistake volume for confidence. 📣 And so if you're only recognizing the people who demand recognition, you're missing half your talent. And that person who just left? They probably trained their replacement six months ago. You just never knew they were planning their exit. 🎧 Listen to the latest episode of ‘From a People Perspective’ with Author of “The Quiet Achiever”, Linda Raynier, CPA, CA: https://lnkd.in/gyTPNXRJ When was the last time you recognized someone who wasn't asking for it?

Did we subscribe our lives to ads? Everywhere we look...there’s an offer, a sale, a sponsored post The feed that once connected us to people… now connects us to brands Social media was supposed to be social Now it’s just a marketplace with better filters We scroll to relax, but end up consuming ads we didn’t ask for... Products we don’t need, lifestyles we can’t relate to, and validation we didn’t sign up for Maybe the real rebellion today is to pause… and choose what we want to give our attention to In my training sessions, I often ask students: If everyone’s trying to get noticed, how will you stand out in an interview? It’s not about shouting the loudest...it’s about telling your story in a way people actually remember And the answers they come up with Always surprising and interesting

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we can only hire one person for that role. No matter how good you are, no matter how far you go in the process, this is the case 9 out of 10 times. It sucks on all sides. Trust me. Sorry to tell all of you candidates this, but you will hear 'no' a lot. And it hurts every time. Believe me, I've been on the receiving end of it as a candidate more times than I can count. But the process is a numbers game, and these days, the numbers are not in your favor. The realities of this market are brutal, no matter how you look at it. And the worst part of our job, which we need to do 95% of the time, is to say "NO". But HOW we say NO is critical. My work friend (and Vegas good luck charm) Nicky Russell perfectly lays out HOW to say "no" the right way. And it begins with the first contact. 👉 By treating people as humans! How you would want to be treated. It's that simple. As an industry, we can and should do much better. Let's start NOW. 👉 Check out my full interview(s) from RecFest USA. Audio and video links below. 🔥 THIS IS #THEPOZCAST > GET INVOLVED 🔥 🏆 Thanks to our friends at Juicebox for their support!

🎬 Why Your Hiring Process Is Longer Than a Netflix Season “Your candidate accepted another job. Not because it paid more, but because they got a response in 48 hours.” You know the one - the perfect candidate. Right experience, great chemistry, the interview went amazingly. Everyone’s excited… and then pause. 🔸 “Colleague X still needs to review the profile.” 🔸 “Let’s do one more interview, just to be sure.” 🔸 “We’ll get back with feedback next week.” Next week turns into two. Meanwhile, the candidate receives another offer. And suddenly they’re no longer available. And you know what comes next? “Where do we find another candidate like them?” 👉 The truth is simple: speed in hiring is a real competitive advantage. The market has changed. Top talent doesn’t wait and slow processes cost a lot: time, reputation, and money. Companies that decide quickly, communicate clearly, and act consistently attract top talent. The rest? They stay stuck in “pending feedback.” 💡 Want a hiring process that moves at the pace of the market, not the calendar? Let’s build it together. #RecruitmentStrategy #HiringProcess #TalentAcquisition #FutureOfWork
