September 11, 2001, marked one of our nation’s darkest days. Few responded as bravely as New York City’s first responders. That day, the New York City Fire Department lost 343, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey lost 37, and the NYPD lost 23, and many others continue to suffer from illnesses related to 9/11. We will #NeverForget.
Never forget or give up hope.
Never, EVER forget!
WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
This is one of those moments in history that you will always remember exactly where you were, what you were doing, what you were feeling. It's hard to believe 24 years have gone by, it still feels like yesterday. Even the weather today feels like it did in 2001. My thoughts today are with those who gave their life that day, those who are still giving their lives since that day, the family and loved ones they left behind. #AlwaysRemember #NeverForget #MyHomeTownNYC 🙏
Never forget 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Since 2007 when my 9/11 cancer was first diagnosed, and the years following. Not one time has anyone from the NYPD (not cops I worked with) ever picked up the phone to see how I was doing. So, I take this post with a real grain of salt.
We will NEVER forget 🙏
