Netflix House Dallas opens December 11.
We always are thinking about fans and thinking about putting fans at the center of everything that we do. And So what the team has really been thinking about how to bring in real life experiences to our fans. The idea was let's build these title based experiences. Let's immerse fans in the words of these shows and films that they love. So finally we said it's time now for us to have some permanent locations to put this into motion. The construction and Netflix house Philadelphia has been a pretty big undertaking, but for us, being accessible and having an opportunity to meet our fans where they are, our new neighbors in that Philadelphia region is a really fantastic opportunity for us and I can't think of a better location. The King of Prussia Mall is the preeminent shopping center in Philadelphia. It is massive. It is located in King of Prussia, which is just a stones. Throw away from Philadelphia, we need a lot of space to put these experiences together to build out the restaurants and the movie theater, and so we're super excited that we get to be in such a stand out location as the King of Prussia Mall. The concept of the red envelope outside was really important to us because those are Netflix's roots. For those of us that remember you were like timing the mail and calculating the order of your queue to get your next DVD. When you jump on to Netflix at home, you're almost guaranteed you're going to find something new, so we needed to be able to create an environment and a venue that was going to be changeable and refreshable. We're going to have a lot of programming for all ages and it's a permanent space, but we are also thinking about how we rotate in your latest love and so we want to be able to deliver the experience that our fans want. It's incredibly important to offer our fans a multitude of ways to get closer to those stories that they love, and you will find an incredible variety of stories under one roof. And I think that that's part of the fun is that it has a little bit for everyone. Being able to show up in person and stepping into a world. You can't even imagine what it's like until you get in there and you immerse yourself in the Netflix world. For over 20 years, fans have welcomed us into their home and what better opportunity than Netflix House to have fans come over to our place. I really hope that when people walk in that the first thing they say is wow. And then I want them to call their friends and family and say let's meet here next weekend and I want them to leave there and say that was really cool. I'm so excited that King of Prussia is open now and we have. Netflix House Dallas on the horizon next month and in 2027 Netflix House Vegas.
Congratulations everyone at Netflix who has contributed to reimagining themed entertainment for a new generation. I was fortunate to have been there on opening day and having worked in this industry for over thirty years appreciate what a game changer Netflix House is. It mixes fan cosplay, competitive socialising, gamification, personalisation, localisation, really great food and good old fashioned fun that will appeal to a wide demographic in a great location. It’s a really dynamic model that will drive repeat visits ensuring commercial success and à hit with fans and anyone just wanting some fun time with their friends and family. Hats off to the hard work of the team behind this and the tought that has gone into creating this refreshingly new concept that undoubtedly will spread across the globe.
Love how the process and intention was captured here. Everything was so thoughtfully captured to tell a story. (Loved the symbolism and nostalgia of the red envelope)
This looks amazing! Love how Netflix is turning storytelling into a full sensory experience. It’s such a fun example of bringing UX principles to life—meeting users where they are and letting them step into the story itself.
Exciting to see Netflix House be a thing! This is a smart way to activate beloved IP and let fans experience stories beyond the screen.
Licensing is so much more than merchandise. It’s about building lasting cultural moments. As someone passionate about licensing and fan engagement, I’m curious how this will create deeper brand connections and new collaboration opportunities.
