Congratulations everyone at Netflix who has contributed to reimagining themed entertainment for a new generation. I was fortunate to have been there on opening day and having worked in this industry for over thirty years appreciate what a game changer Netflix House is. It mixes fan cosplay, competitive socialising, gamification, personalisation, localisation, really great food and good old fashioned fun that will appeal to a wide demographic in a great location. It’s a really dynamic model that will drive repeat visits ensuring commercial success and à hit with fans and anyone just wanting some fun time with their friends and family. Hats off to the hard work of the team behind this and the tought that has gone into creating this refreshingly new concept that undoubtedly will spread across the globe.

Looks like a great job!

Love how the process and intention was captured here. Everything was so thoughtfully captured to tell a story. (Loved the symbolism and nostalgia of the red envelope)

Well done Evan McMahon, looks great!

This looks amazing! Love how Netflix is turning storytelling into a full sensory experience. It’s such a fun example of bringing UX principles to life—meeting users where they are and letting them step into the story itself.

I attended one almost 3 years ago in Toronto, and it was so good! Netflix rented a historic building and had a christmas reveal!

Exciting to see Netflix House be a thing! This is a smart way to activate beloved IP and let fans experience stories beyond the screen. Licensing is so much more than merchandise. It’s about building lasting cultural moments. As someone passionate about licensing and fan engagement, I’m curious how this will create deeper brand connections and new collaboration opportunities.
