NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam’s Post

✨ The Story of Ms. Lay Lau: From Curiosity to Career ✨   “I’m not from a security background,” Lau Lay – Development Manager, Data Protection at NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam (NAB Vietnam) – begins. “My degree was in Business, and later I did an MBA in Business Analytics. When I started working with data as a Data Analyst, I realised how powerful and valuable it is – and that curiosity pulled me toward data protection.”   Since joining NAB Vietnam in 2021, she’s found a workplace that values its people. “The environment here is positive and supportive. We focus on growing and winning together. It really feels like a family – everyone cares, and that spirit comes from our captains who shape the team culture.”   Reflecting on her growth, she says: “Everyone has goals they would like to achieve in their career. What makes the journey truly meaningful is being part of a company where mistakes become lessons, and potential turns into performance - and I’ve found that here at NAB Vietnam.”   Learning and collaboration have become central to her work. “The internal knowledge sharing sessions are one of my favourite things. We get together to exchange ideas, share experiences, and inspire growth. By learning from each other, we strengthen our collective expertise and build a more connected and empowered team”.   “Leadership always supports development, and there are so many platforms to help with self-learning. That’s why I feel I belong here.”   Her favourite quote says it all: “The expert in anything was once a beginner”   She adds, “From the very beginning, my leaders trusted me. That trust unlocked my strengths and shaped who I am today”   Lay Lau’s story reminds us that transformation starts when you refuse to give up in what you’re working for - and when leaders choose to believe in potential before experience.   👉 Explore more inspiring journeys and career opportunities at NAB Vietnam: https://lnkd.in/gCZ7h_y8   #NABVietnam #HomeForInnovators #CyberMonth #WomeninTech
