MSC Foundation’s Post

We’re pleased to welcome Thomas Elliott, who recently joined the MSC Foundation as Marine Operations Officer at Ocean Cay. Tom E. is a marine biologist from London, with a BSc in Zoology from Royal Holloway, University of London, where he is currently completing an MSc by Research exploring the evolution and ecological significance of ultraviolet (UV) and colour ornamentation in coral reef fishes. He brings experience across marine research, fieldwork and conservation, having worked in The Bahamas at the Cape Eleuthera Institute, where he contributed to both coral restoration and shark and ray ecology programmes. At Ocean Cay, he will work closely with the team to advance the Super Coral Reefs Programme, supporting coral restoration, education, public awareness and engagement.
