Social skills don’t always develop naturally—but with intentional support, children can learn to connect, communicate, and form meaningful relationships. Evidence-based ABA strategies can make a big difference in helping children practice these skills in everyday moments. For example: 1. Model and Practice at Home – Role-play greetings, turn-taking, or simple conversations to build comfort and confidence. 2. Use Visual Supports – Visual cues like cards or charts help children understand social steps and expectations. 3. Try Social Stories – Short, structured stories prepare children for real-life events like sharing, group play, or making new friends. Each small step builds toward greater social independence and confidence—both in therapy and beyond. 👉 Learn more about supporting social skill development: https://lnkd.in/dTwkAuYK #MindfulSprouts #ABAtherapy #AutismSupport #ParentTips #SocialSkills
