Better prompts start with questions. Ask AI to interrogate your thinking until it fully understands the nuance, then decide. Use mental models, not one-shot answers. Short loops. Clear structure. Better decisions.

"Start with your pain points, not with what's out there." Just one piece of advice from Avi Staiman on integrating AI into research workflows. Most researchers want to be creative, to experiment, to discover – not to spend endless hours on grant writing, reports, and administrative tasks. What if AI could give you that time back? In this clip, Avi reveals the game-changing mindset shift: identify what makes you dread Monday mornings, then find the AI tool that frees you to do what you love. Your research passion shouldn't be buried under busywork. It's time to reclaim it. Watch the full conversation: https://ow.ly/zNtN50XnWRS

Perplexity released a pretty cool pdf on how they use AI at work. I've seen others on X and LinkedIn share this, but with the caveat "Send me a DM for the doc!" which is annoying. So here's a link you can check it out and download it for free. https://lnkd.in/gEGkFq5R Sample: Block Distractions: Use AI to reclaim your time and focus. Delegate the repetitive, administrative tasks and the context-switching that fragments your attention. Scale Yourself: Once focused, use AI as a force multiplier. Amplify your natural talent and curiosity to research, create, and synthesize at a scale that was previously impossible alone. Get Results: Channel this enhanced capability toward tangible outcomes. Focus your efforts on high-impact work that moves your organization and career forward.

Our brains love what’s familiar — even when it’s no longer working. In my latest article with Dave Jennings, we explore why logic isn’t enough for AI adoption. Even when teams believe in AI, they often default to old habits because that’s what feels safe. So here’s a question: what do you think actually blocks AI adoption? (Comment Below)👇 A) Habit — People stick to old ways B) Fear — Change feels risky C) Fatigue — Too many tools D) Leadership — Lack of modeling, top down In case you missed the article: https://lnkd.in/g9FDXkjV

🌟 Daily AI Spark: The Ramble-to-Wisdom Hack 🤖🧠 Did you know some people talk to AI all day long — sharing ideas, worries, tiny victories, and random “wait… what was I thinking?” moments? The magic? By the end of the day, AI turns their rambling into a clean, insightful summary that feels like a personal clarity report. 📝✨ It’s like having a super-patient friend who never gets tired, never interrupts, and always remembers the important stuff. 💁♀️🤖 🔥 WOW Tip: Try using AI as your daily mental declutter companion — send voice notes, random thoughts, or to-dos throughout the day. Before bedtime, ask: 👉 “Summarize everything I shared today and give me 3 insights + my top priorities for tomorrow.” Boom. You just upgraded your brain with zero extra effort. 🎇🧠💪 PS: Content co-created with AI

Imagine a world where the tools we use to think also subtly shape how we think. Each time you ask an AI to write, decide, or imagine, it mirrors your reasoning back to you, sometimes challenging, sometimes flattering, and sometimes subtly replacing the inner dialogue that makes thinking uniquely yours. But how do we navigate this new cognitive landscape? https://lnkd.in/eZh8htTP

Struggling to get started because you don't know where to begin? Strategies: 1. Break the task into the smallest visible step (e.g., open the document, title the page). 2. Use a “next actionable step” checklist rather than a long to-do list. Use AI to help. Magic To Do is a great tool for this 3. Co-work or body double with someone to get started and build momentum. #ExecutiveFunction #TaskInitiation #ADHDTips #StartSmall #NeurodivergentSupport #bodydoubling

How AI helped me build a thinking routine Most people build morning routines. I started building a thinking routine — with AI as a partner. It’s simple, but powerful: Start with one question I don’t have an answer to. Prompt AI to unpack it — but not solve it. Reflect: what’s missing from my framing? Re-prompt. Iterate. Observe how my own thinking evolves. It’s not about productivity hacks. It’s about pattern awareness. I don’t use AI to skip the hard parts — I use it to train how I face them. Do you have a thinking routine? Or are you still reacting to information? #ThinkingInPublic #AIPractice #IntellectualDiscipline #PromptingAsReflection #AIandMe #MentalFitness

I recently had a client reach out with a few questions they wanted to discuss in an upcoming session. Below the questions, they included an AI take, which they said resonated with them. It got me curious. For those of you who both use AI for coaching or therapy purposes and also have real person as a coach or therapist: - How do you think about the division of labor between AI and the real person? How do they work together? Are there ways in which they work against each other? - What does an AI provide in a coaching or therapy context that your coach or therapist doesn't? And what does the coach or therapist provide than an AI doesn't? - What would have to happen for you to give up your coach or therapist all together and just use AI? Post your thoughts in the comments!
