“We invested in AI, but no one’s using it.” - That’s what a CIO quietly admitted to me during a recent conversation. The tools were there. The dashboards looked great. But ADOPTION? Flat! So I asked: “Did the teams get training?” He nodded. “Yeah, we ran a few sessions.” There it was. Now, training as a one-time event, instead of a system or a strategy is just like ticking one of those mandatory HR training hours to be conducted in a month/quarter/year. SHRM’s latest data shows that companies investing in upskilling and reskilling are twice as likely to see daily AI adoption. Because the real transformation isn’t in the technology. It’s in the people using it. And by the way, AI won’t transform your workforce. Your LEARNING CULTURE will. If your teams aren’t learning faster than the tech is evolving…the tools you invest in will only collect dust. And your edge over your competitor? GONE ! #LearningCulture #DigitalTransformation #Upskilling #AIAdoption #WorkforceStrategy #FutureOfWork #Skillsoft #SHRM

Yesterday Speexx hosted Donald H Taylor online for a sharp walk-through of the annual 2025 AI in L&D report, published this fall by Don and Egle Vinauskaite. The signal is clear. We have passed the inflection point. AI is now part of the standard L&D toolkit, and the conversation has shifted from “if” to “how fast” and “where first.” What I loved in the data is how practical the use has become. Four big buckets show up again and again. Content and design, where AI helps with research, writing, storyboards, and accessible formats. Operations, where teams use AI for comms, documents, and day to day productivity. Strategy and insight, where AI acts like a thinking partner for skills mapping, plans, and analysis. Workforce enablement, where simulations, coaching, and prompts support performance in the flow of work. Progress is real, but the usual barriers still slow teams down. Trust in outputs, privacy and security, integration, and team skills keep showing up at the top of the list. The fix is not magic. Clear guardrails, smart data policies, integrated workflows, and targeted upskilling move the needle. Don also offered a helpful lens for the journey. The Transformation Triangle names three winning patterns. Skills Authority, Enablement Partner, and Adaptation Engine. Pick the role that fits your business, then commit. Where Speexx stands is simple. People development must show measurable impact on the job, not just in the LMS. Human in the loop is non negotiable. Coaches, managers, and SMEs keep context, judgment, and ethics front and center. We build for real work with role relevant conversations, feedback that is immediate and actionable, and support in the flow of work. My takeaway for HR and L&D leaders: Start with one business problem. Wire AI into the workflow. Measure the change in performance. Then scale what works. Revolution beats evolution, and strategy beats tactics - says Don. For a full recording of the session, go to speexx.com. #AIinLD #HR #Edtech

I recently had the pleasure of joining a panel on “Setting the Workforce AI Training Agenda” at the Tricentis Transform conference, where I shared insights from my experience scaling AI across the enterprise. Among the many thought-provoking discussions with my fellow panelists, one key theme stood out: the importance of tone from the top. Organizations need digitally fluent leaders who can connect business strategy to AI’s potential — framing it as an opportunity, not a threat. It’s undeniable that AI is reshaping the workplace. But this isn’t the first time technology has transformed how we work. When computers emerged in the 1950s, they replaced countless manual bookkeeping tasks — yet millions of clerical workers adapted, learned new skills, and moved into new roles. What’s concerning today is that some leaders still view AI primarily through the lens of replacement rather than reinvention. The future belongs to those who focus on building AI fluency, investing in new skills, and empowering people to partner with technology. These intentional efforts will pay dividends — in productivity, innovation, and growth.

AI is transforming productivity but are we using the time it saves wisely? Only 36% of employees feel confident measuring the impact of their work. Without clarity on what creates value, skills development risks becoming misaligned. Future-ready workers aren’t just more productive, they’re guided. They understand how their work contributes to business outcomes and focus their growth where it matters most. To truly unlock the potential of AI and human talent, organisations must help employees connect the dots between time saved and value created. 🌐 #AdeccoGroup #FutureOfWork #WorkforceOfTheFuture

If 2030 arrived tomorrow, would your organization be ready for AI at scale? - Start with strategy anchored in measurable business outcomes - map AI to revenue, cost, risk, and customer or citizen value, then back into the jobs and skills you’ll need. - Make data your moat - fix data quality, access, and security; put clear governance, privacy, and responsible AI controls in place. - Modernize the stack - cloud-first, open, interoperable systems with automated monitoring so AI can be deployed safely and repeatedly. - Grow digital confidence - upskill leaders and frontline teams in practical AI use, prompts, and decision-making; reward learning, not just output. - Scale what works - run small pilots with clear ROI, then turn them into repeatable solutions and roll out with change management and performance metrics. Two moves to make now: 1) Launch a cross-functional AI program office in 90 days to prioritize use cases and guardrails. 2) Invest 1–2% of payroll in continuous learning and build role-based academies with a 2026 skill plan. #LondonGulfNexus #AILeadership #DigitalTransformation #FutureOfWork #ResponsibleAI
