Part of the broader #IndonesiaDeepwaterDevelopment (IDD) project, the Gendalo-Gandang fields are located in the Kutai Basin off East Kalimantan. The project represents one of the largest deepwater gas developments in the region and is key to meeting Indonesia’s growing domestic energy demand while supporting LNG export commitments. The EPCI scope is expected to cover the subsea production systems, pipelines, and associated offshore infrastructure needed to connect the fields to existing processing facilities. Once operational, the development is anticipated to contribute significantly to Indonesia’s long-term gas supply and strengthen Eni’s position as a major player in Southeast Asia’s upstream energy sector.
