“If you wait to network until you need to, it would be too late.” — Jason Breault One of Jason’s most enduring lessons: networking is not a transactional act, it’s a long-term investment. The best professional relationships are built on trust and consistency — just like the recruiter who placed two candidates this year that he first met over a decade ago. Build your network before you need it. You’ll thank yourself later. #LifeWorkSearch #Networking #CareerGrowth #RecruiterAdvice

Let’s talk about networking and the truth behind it. We often hear “It’s all about who you know.” But here’s the reality: your network can open the door, not walk you through it. Connections can help you get noticed, but what gets you hired is your capability, consistency, and credibility. A referral might start the conversation, but your skills, attitude, and effort are what seal the deal. So instead of chasing contacts, focus on building competence and character. Because when you deliver real value, your name travels faster than any referral ever could. Build trust. Build expertise. Build your reputation. #RecruiterInsights #Networking #CareerGrowth #TalentAcquisition

💭 Let’s talk about the power of your network and the myth around it! We often hear that “It’s all about who you know.” But here’s the truth: your network can open the door, not walk you through it! Connections may help you get noticed, but what gets you hired is your merit, skills, and how well you fit the position! A referral might give your profile visibility, but it can’t replace preparation, performance, or potential! So instead of chasing connections for shortcuts, focus on building credibility, not just contacts. Because when you truly know your craft, your network becomes your amplifier and not your shortcut. ✨ Build value. Build trust. Build yourself. That’s how your name starts circulating in rooms you haven’t even entered yet! #Networking #CareerGrowth #RecruiterInsights #LinkedInTips #MeritMatters

If I would have to start building my network as an introvert from scratch, these are the 3 steps I would take We all know that networking is super important So how on earth are you going to do it when you're introverted? Step 1: Figure out what your goals are, and have them clear Step 2: Look for the people that can help you achieve those goals (don't focus solely on recruiters) Step 3: Send connection requests to the right people, and add a message to start the conversation Don't know what to say? I got you! I have networking scripts for the first 5 messages that you send DM me "scripts" and I'll send them to you!

“Networking used to scare me — until I stopped calling it networking” “Go network!” they said. So I collected business cards like Pokémon cards. Then realised: no one remembers who gave them the 37th “Let’s Connect 🙂” message. Now I just talk. Ask real questions. “What’s one mistake you made early in your career?” works better than “Any openings in your firm?” Turns out, networking is just having curious conversations — without expecting a referral at the end. The day I stopped trying to impress people, I started connecting with them. #Networking #MBAJourney #CareerGrowth #Authenticity
