If someone claims they built a tech startup without a tech team, just AI, I’d avoid their product immediately. This narrative gives people false hope. AI is not replacing humans, it’s amplifying them. I don’t believe we’ll see the first solo-founder unicorn in LATAM. But I do believe we’ll see tiny, ultra-efficient teams using AI build multiple unicorns. That’s the real revolution. Human team + AI = exponential efficiency. Solo founder + AI = still fiction.
This makes so much sense. The human+AI amplification is the sweet spot. The solo founder unicorn is a unicorn for a reason!
100% agree
This is the right take. The 'Human team + AI' model doesn't just change engineering velocity; it fundamentally alters the GTM strategy. We're seeing AI-native teams run marketing, sales, and support with a fraction of the traditional headcount, freeing up capital for product instead of overhead. ✨

1wFully agree. AI can accelerate a team, but it can’t replace its healthy dynamics, experience, or the decisions that aren’t made “by algorithm.”
