We’re heading to the Supreme Court. The Court has agreed to hear Learning Resources (which includes Educational Insights and Brightkins) and hand2mind’s case challenging the IEEPA tariffs—an issue that affects not just our business, but countless others across the country. It’s a major step forward, and we’re grateful that they’ve chosen to adjudicate a case with such significant economic implications. The Court has set an expedited timeline, with oral arguments scheduled for early November. This fast-track review underscores the urgency and significance of the issues at stake. We’re proud to stand up for our customers, our employees, and the schools and communities we serve. 2moCongress not the President holds the constitutional authority to regulate commerce with foreign nations (Article I, Section 8). And if the Supreme courts allows unchecked executive tariff powers undermine the separation of powers and threatens long-term stability for businesses. Who should control U.S. tariffs Congress or the President? A wholesale business now before the Supreme Court is highlighting how tariffs on China raised costs, hurt competitiveness, and strained supply chains. The core issue: Constitution: Congress holds tariff power, not the executive. Law: Trade statutes were meant as narrow tools, not blank checks. Impact: Small + mid-size wholesalers, jobs, and families bear the cost. The Court isn’t setting trade policy,it’s ensuring the balance of power. Stability for businesses depends on it. I want to Thank Leading Resources for taking lead and being the voice of both small and large US corporations. We appreciate you and stand together with you. Best Regards, Corey
