As members of the B Corp™ Beauty Coalition L’Occitane en Provence and ELEMIS are proud to contribute to ‘Going Beyond: Positive Actions in the Beauty Industry’ - a global advocacy campaign launched ahead of COP30 Brazil. Led by the Coalition’s first dedicated advocacy working group, the initiative showcases how B Corp-certified beauty brands are driving systemic change across the value chain. From regenerative agriculture and circular packaging to inclusive governance, the message is clear: action speaks louder than ambition. Our contribution highlights the work of L’Occitane en Provence and its support for the agroecology and fair-trade association - a collaboration bringing together family-run farms, distillers, and agronomists to test and scale agroecological practices across Provence and Corsica. Today, 100% of the Provence almond and lavender supply chains are fair-trade certified. This is regeneration in action - partnership-led, biodiversity-driven, and built for long-term impact. #LOCCITANEGroup #BCorpBeauty #COP30 #Biodiversity

Territorial Innovation for Climate-Resilient Sociobioeconomies At COP30 Brazil, Fabiana Menna, president of Fundacion Gran Chaco, joined the panel “Territorial Innovation for Agroecology and Climate-Resilient Sociobioeconomies” organized by World-Transforming Technologies (WTT). She shared how, in one of South America’s most extensive and fragmented regions, the first innovation was rebuilding the social fabric from the ground up — led by women. Through networks such as #COMAR (Cooperative of Women Producers of the Gran Chaco), the Colectivo de Mujeres del Gran Chaco, and Redes Chaco — a “network of networks” connecting Indigenous communities, civil society, and local governments — more than 3,000 women producers are leading small-scale agroforestry systems that integrate local knowledge, water harvesting, and sustainable food production. “We’re proving that even in a semi-arid region, it’s possible to produce food sustainably and strengthen local economies.” — Fabiana Menna

🌱 SASI and VEJA in Brazil: Tracing Responsibility from Field to Forest 🇧🇷 From the cotton fields of Pernambuco to the rainforests of Acre, two SASI colleagues explored how sustainable supply chains take shape – and how collaboration turns raw materials into shared responsibility and lasting impact. Read more in our latest article 👉 https://lnkd.in/ed6FwuHf A few key takeaways: 👩🌾 In Pernambuco, farmer Joana Darke shows how agroecology empowers #women and #communities. Supported by Diaconia, she grows organic #cotton in the semi-arid Caatinga – proving that resilience and sustainability go hand in hand. 🌳 In Acre, Seringueiro families harvest natural rubber with SOS Amazônia, protecting the #forest while securing their livelihoods. Every litre tapped helps keep the Amazon standing. 🤝 #Sustainability, we learned, grows from trust, #partnership and local #innovation – not in boardrooms, but in the fields and forests where responsibility begins. #SASI #SupplyChains #Collaboration #ForestConservation #ResponsibleBusiness

Before her return to the farm in 2019, Aline Vick had been working in the city for a decade. After her return, what made her stay on the farm was the soil. We heard from Aline and several of her fellow farmers from around the world earlier this year in a summit event we called re.gen.nect. This event, featuring voices from across academia, industry, and agriculture, centered the complicated realities farmers face as they scale regenerative agriculture on their farms. Aline is one of many Brazilian farmers at this year's #COP30 event and beyond, who are evolving along with the land they steward. Farmers around the world are figuring out just what it means to farm regeneratively, hand in hand with technology and nature to optimize productivity, soil longevity, and environmental impact.

Food for Biodiversity has launched its first international collaboration! In Q2 2025, FORETICA and Fundación Global Nature (FGN) agreed to collaborate with our association to strengthen biodiversity and climate action in the agrifood sector. The partnership combines FGN’s expertise in regenerative agriculture, Forética’s strong sustainability network in Spain, and our European approach to integrating biodiversity into food value chains. Together, we aim to accelerate biodiversity-friendly and climate-resilient food systems, share best practices, and engage more companies in sustainable sourcing. Planned activities include a joint workshop for Spanish companies, while Forética will also present project outcomes to its members at various events – helping scale impact across Spain and Europe. #biodiversity #fit4biodiversity #LIFEAmplifier #LIFEprogramme #EUprojects #EUbiodiversity
