Kinectrics, a BWXT company, was honored to host the OCNI Supplier Engagement Event at our Toronto headquarters, in partnership with Bruce Power, organized by the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI). The event featured remarks from MP James Maloney, Lee Fairclough, Patrick Dalzell, CFA, and industry representatives, as well as a tour of our Isotope Production Facility, where guests explored the newly commissioned second-generation Electromagnetic Isotope Separator (EMIS) units. These state-of-the-art systems significantly expand our production of Yb-176, the precursor to Lutetium-177, used in life-saving cancer therapies. During the event, Kinectrics was proud to receive an award from OCNI, recognizing our leadership in medical isotope innovation and reinforcing Canada’s role in the global nuclear supply chain.
