Recently we returned to Father Law Home for the Elderly, a sanctuary of care and dignity since the 1950s in Lami, Viti Levu, Fiji. This time, we delivered much-needed furniture generously donated by Cabrini Health in Melbourne, in an effort to replace decades old, heavily worn furniture @cabrinihealthfoundation
These new chairs will bring comfort to residents who face daily challenges with such resilience and grace. We are so grateful to Sister Rosa and her devoted team for their tireless care, and to our supporters for reminding these elders that they are never forgotten. @grained_creations @katalystfoundation

Thank you. I am Sister Maria Rosa from Naitasiri. This is my second year here at Father Logo. I look after the spiritual life of these old people now, 25 of them all. I'm very glad to be here with a great help to assist us from the catalyst and the friends we have. Very, very glad to use up what they brought for us. It'll be with us for a long, long time while we here at Father Lou home. What you had brought in tables, cupboards, cities and now have a big setis comfortable which we feel at home. We first came here at the beginning of the year with our tertiary hostel students. We thought to get the students into community outreach work, so we brought them in just to do a bit of cleanup and basically just to come and spend time with our residents here. It was an eye opener for them and as well for us. We noticed that in their dining area there were chairs that were broken, which was. Currently being used by the residents and that was one of the great needs that needed to be addressed as soon as. So we were very fortunate to receive donations from Australia. Comfortable chairs for the residents and the remarks from the residents today and the workers, how comfortable and how it has really helped them a lot. Today we delivered another six lounge chairs just to put up in their recreational area as well, somewhere comfortable, somewhere homely, to give them that space just like they're being at home, just to add on to the love. That has been shared to them by the lovely stuff here at Rather Low. Appreciate the great help from the Catalyst that we are fortunate enough to serve our old people here.
