Hiring the right attorney can feel overwhelming—especially when you're already dealing with a stressful family situation. So how do you choose? Here are 3 things we encourage people to consider: ✅ Comfort & Communication – Do you feel heard? Understood? Do they explain things clearly and respond to your questions without making you feel small? ✅ Experience That Matches Your Needs – Family law is a world of its own. You want someone who handles your type of case all the time—not just occasionally. ✅ Approach & Values – Some attorneys push for a fight. Others prioritize resolution. Make sure their style aligns with yours. You’re not just hiring legal knowledge—you’re hiring a guide through a tough chapter of your life. At our firm, we believe in honesty, strategy, and treating our clients like real people, not case files. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, we’d be happy to talk.

Hiring for your law firm shouldn’t feel like a gamble. You don’t just need another set of hands. What you need is people who already understand the work, your area of law, and how your firm runs. That’s what we do at Zirtual Legal. We match attorneys with high-caliber, U.S.-based paralegals and legal specialists who bring real-world law firm and in-house experience. These are the kind of professionals who can take the handoff and run with it, so you feel immediate impact. Here’s how our 3-step process works: 1. Customized Support 🔍 Choose exactly what your firm needs (we're here to help you identify what that is!). From senior paralegals to intake or discovery support, we match by practice area, software, and state experience. 2. Quality Guarantee 🤝 You’ll meet and approve your Zirtual Legal Specialist before onboarding, so you can trust the experience behind the title (not just hope for the best). 3. Scalable & Flexible ⚖️ Easily scale your support up or down as your caseload shifts so you can keep your work and budget balanced. We allow you to keep your operations lean without ever sacrificing quality or follow-through. The result: Legal support that actually lightens your workload, strengthens your systems, and gives you confidence that the work will be done right the first time. ⭐ Then you can give us a testimonial like this: “Lisa, our paralegal… she’s amazing—has way more talent than I ever would’ve imagined would be available in the fractional support world.” - Tim Johnson, Longship Legal I'd love to work with you on "right-size" staffing your law firm. I analyzed 50 law firm websites last month. The average homepage took 6.8 seconds to communicate what the firm actually does. That's 4.3 seconds too long. Here's what's happening: → Generic taglines ("Excellence in Legal Representation") → Lawyer headshots with no context → Mission statements that sound like every other firm → The actual value proposition buried in paragraph 3 Meanwhile, someone searching "employment lawyer Chicago" has 12 tabs open. They're making decisions in seconds. The firms that win? They lead with specificity: ❌ Comprehensive legal services. ✅ We've recovered $47M for wrongfully terminated employees. ❌ Trusted advisors since 1987. ✅ 157 cases won in federal court. 89% success rate. ❌ Client-focused approach. ✅ Most employment cases settle in 90 days. No trial needed. Your homepage isn't a brochure. It's a filter. It should immediately answer: "Is this firm for my specific problem?" If someone can't tell in 6 seconds what you do and why you're different, they're gone. And they're not coming back. What does your homepage say in the first 140 characters?

Dear Attorney, Hiring tip: Talk to a candidate's paralegals. If those references come back less-than-stellar, move on to another candidate. I have 100% regretted every time I've ever hired someone that had less-than-stellar paralegal references. And I have made this mistake too many times.
