𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Over the last 20 years we have seen an incredible journey from the leading companies in the global material handling industry. 🚀 𝑆𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑙𝑜𝑑𝑒 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑛𝑜𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒. 📉 𝑆𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑒𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑟. 👑 𝑆𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑢𝑝 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑑𝑖𝑢𝑚. 𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: 1️⃣ - The post 2019 boom in the wake of Covid is truly over. Whilst many companies seem like they have gone backwards in recent years, it is instead just a return to a 'normal' growth trajectory of their revenues 📉 2️⃣ - It is absolutely possible to go from unheard of underdog, to global leader in a matter of just 5 years, Symbotic have truly set the standard for global disruption and are still mostly focused inside the USA 🚀 3️⃣ - A new leader emerges, with Dematic finally taking the top spot, after a relentless pursuit for the title 🥇Honourable mention also to KNAPP for entering the top 5 off the back of more than a decade of continued growth 📈 4️⃣ - Daifuku & SSI SCHÄFER revenues 'down' considerably vs. previous years, likely due to a now separated reporting for their intralogistics systems business revenue giving a more accurate view 📊 5️⃣ - The decisions from Körber Supply Chain and Vanderlande to purchase their respective parts of Siemens Logistics seem to have somewhat paid off, with both continually growing revenues whilst others regressed 🤝 If you're in this industry, this isn’t just a leaderboard - for many it's a lesson in innovation, execution, and resilience, whilst for some it is a warning on what happens if you don't have the right people in place. Who adapted? Who got left behind? Who surprised you the most?
