It feels like the current AI wave is obsessed with making systems more autonomous - taking humans away from the loop as much as possible. Ok sure, this makes life easier and helps in cutting down costs. But with time this also risks making us lose our resourcefulness as there will be less need to think, learn or develop new skills for ourselves. Well, what if we flipped the narrative? Instead of replacing human effort, what if we focused on amplifying human capability - helping people reach 2× their potential with AI as an intelligent collaborator? Maybe the sole focus shouldn't be Autonomous AI. But rather co-evolution. Some focus should go in figuring out the right mental model for how humans can use AI to become smarter, faster, and better versions of ourselves. What do you think?
