💼 IG Group Sells Its Stake in The Small Exchange to Kraken for $100 Million Global trading firm IG Group has finalized a $100 million deal to sell its stake in the US-based Small Exchange to crypto giant Kraken. The transaction includes $32.5 million in cash and $67.5 million in Kraken’s parent company (Payward) stock, delivering IG a £73.3 million post-tax gain and strengthening its capital base. As part of the agreement, IG and Kraken will collaborate to distribute Small Exchange products.
