Inhuman HSBC talking about innovative thinking.
A global forum focused on the future of finance is critical right now. It's inspiring to witness the discussions on innovation that will shape the next era of banking. Kudos to HSBC for championing this platform where leading ideas and crucial insights "come together." #Innovation #FutureofFinance #FinTechWeek
160 years of supporting innovation, and now they're finally admitting that fintech is the future. Only took them a century! 😄 But seriously, the convergence of traditional banking wisdom with bleeding-edge tech = the sweet spot where real value gets created. Hong Kong's playing this perfectly.
If HSBC has been “supporting innovation for 160 years,” where are the 71 years spent by HSBC Lebanon retirees who built your legacy in the region? Lebanon was once a vital bridge between East and West — a hub that helped HSBC expand globally. Those same retirees who made that possible are now abandoned, deprived of their promised medical coverage until age 85. One senior manager who served 48 years sold his home to pay for insurance debts. Another, after 40 years of service, sold his wife’s jewelry to access hospital treatment. A third sold his car to undergo open-heart surgery. Before celebrating 160 years of “innovation,” HSBC should reflect on the human cost behind its legacy. Innovation without integrity is hypocrisy.
