New Hilton research reveals what many of us already know: the holidays can be exhausting. 53% of travelers admit to making excuses to cut family visits short, and 36% say they end up sleeping somewhere other than a bed, such as couches and air mattresses. It’s not just guests feeling the strain. 63% of holiday hosts say hosting is exhausting, and nearly half (46%) admit they’d enjoy the season more if guests stayed elsewhere. That’s why Hilton is inviting travelers to make the holidays feel more like a holiday, with up to 25% off stays when they book by Dec. 15. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eGC8z-B3 #HiltonForTheStay
Dear Hilton Management @Chris Nassetta @Simon Vincent CBE As a Hilton Honors member, I am writing with a heavy heart to formally report a serious safety incident that occurred during my stay at your hotel in Vienna. Date and Time of Incident: Oct 27th, approximate time: 11am Location: Hilton Vienna Waterfront, Room 614 Description: While staying at your hotel, I was accidentally pricked by a discarded needle in the chair in my hotel room. The needle appeared to be a used acupuncture or medical needle, posing a potential biological hazard. The incident caused a puncture wound to my finger, creating a possible risk of infection (including HIV and Hepatitis). Upon discovering the needle, I immediately: • Took photographs of the needle and the scene; • Preserved the object safely for evidence; • Reported the matter to your front desk staff; • Visited the emergency department at AKH Wien for immediate medical evaluation and post-exposure treatment.
Sorry to hear of this incident , I trust all is now well . magikote.com

It’s interesting how the emotional side of travel often gets overlooked in hospitality conversations. This research shows exactly why brands like Hilton stay relevant they understand the stress behind the season, not just the logistics.
