Henry, it's smart to focus on the F5 BIG-IP updates mandated by . While patching is critical, have you considered how quickly you can achieve 100% compliance? Speed to compliance directly impacts your risk exposure. One of our recent clients, using a streamlined approach, saw a 22% reduction in time-to-remediation. I'd be happy to share a 7-day launch ladder to help you fast-track your compliance efforts. If you own the compliance/security roadmap, Comment 'COMPLIANCE' and I’ll DM it.

CMMC enforcement is reshaping the landscape for defense contractors and the MSPs that support them. As compliance standards become a requirement for doing business with the DoD, thousands of organizations will need guidance on how to meet and maintain them.
For MSPs, that means a chance to deepen client relationships by helping them stay secure and eligible for future contracts.
Cyberleaf partners with MSPs to make that possible through co-branded CMMC readiness and compliance support.

Legislators in the House and Senate are investigating methods to expand the powers of the National Guard in cyber operations and communication resilience as they move on with the FY 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The proposed clauses would place National Guard units at the forefront of safeguarding crucial infrastructure, enhancing systems for communication, and installing modern technologies for disaster response. However, there are still significant differences about whether Washington deserves to preserve state control or its command of the digital response mission.
Modern warfare is as much about computing power as it is about firepower.
As global threats evolve and the data deluge intensifies, the Department of War (DoW) and other national security agencies are increasingly investing in high-performance computing (#HPC) to maintain a strategic edge.

Just watched the 60 Minutes interview with retired four-star General Tim Haugh, former head of the NSA. His warning was direct: China is actively targeting U.S. military networks, industrial systems, and critical infrastructure not necessarily to cause immediate disruption, but to position itself with strategic access and leverage in a future crisis.
What’s most concerning is that these intrusions aren’t limited to large, high-profile targets. The example of the Littleton, Massachusetts water facility, a small local provider, highlights a sobering truth: adversaries are mapping vulnerabilities across every layer of the U.S. critical infrastructure ecosystem.
This pattern suggests a shift from isolated cyber incidents to a broader campaign of prepositioning, embedding access into civilian and industrial networks that could be exploited to disrupt logistics, utilities, and communication systems during geopolitical tension.
From a national security standpoint, this isn’t just an IT or cybersecurity issue; it’s an economic, operational, and defense readiness issue.
The takeaway is clear: resilience must be built into every system, from local utilities to defense contractors, because adversaries see them as interconnected targets in the same battlespace.
