Alison Groves said it best 👉 “Our AI doesn’t learn from the entire internet.”
And thank goodness. Because when it comes to customer support, “the entire internet” is not where you want your answers coming from.
Help Scout’s AI Answers only learns from your trusted sources, so your customers get responses that are fast and actually accurate.

So there are two letters in the English language I think we hear more than any right now, and that is A and I. But I think AI is very misunderstood across so many things, including what it learns from. OK, so we're all used to something like Chachi PT or when you do a search in Google or something like that, you're getting results. But those results are coming from the entire Internet. So something like Chachi PT has used the entire Internet to learn. But when we think about AI. School like Help Scout, it's a totally different thing. So Help Scout is not using the entire Internet to learn from. It's only learning from what you tell it to. So things like your website and your doc site and that's it. So if you try using AI in Help Scout to help your customers, I think what you're going to learn is how quickly and easily it can help people and how it's going to give them the right information because it's not coming from Internet, it's coming from exactly what you want it to. You want to explore, maybe get a little bit more comfortable with AI and help scout, which we call AI Answers. Just remember that it's only learning from information. You give what information you're teaching it, and therefore is going to give your customers a much better experience.
