Join our Team! We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Designer with a passion for LFF&E to join our team as Senior Loose Furnishings Specialist. THE ROLE Working with close mentorship from Principals Paul Hecker and Hamish Guthrie, and Directors Stacey Van Harn and Kymberley Gim, you’ll be heading up the LFF&E department at Hecker Guthrie. You’ll play a key role in delivering diverse FF&E projects across various sectors (high end residential and multi-residential, hospitality, hotel, retail, commercial and health & wellness), while also driving your department’s success from a commercial perspective, focusing on delivering an elevated design outcome at every step of the way. We’re looking for someone who: - Has a keen design eye and sense of their own, and the Studio’s, aesthetic. - Is engaged with, and abreast of design culture, locally and internationally. - Has 5 years' proven experience managing LFF&E projects from the outset, through procurement and final styling. - Is a confident communicator, enjoying building and sustaining relationships with clients, suppliers and our studio team. - Is comfortable working across a range of sectors (e.g. high end residential, multi-residential, hotel, hospitality etc.). - Is organised and driven to create and develop systems and processes which improve efficiency, Is strategic, able to drive the commercial success of LFF&E as a ‘business within a business’ at Hecker Guthrie. - Is a pro using the Adobe Suite (indesign, photoshop) and Office Suite. - Is experienced using ArchiCAD (or other 3D CAD software) to develop planning solutions and design bespoke joinery / furniture pieces.
