The State Health Operations Centre (SHOC) has been shortlisted for two categories in the upcoming IPAA WA Achievement Awards on 12 December 2025. 🎉 The awards recognise outstanding work by individuals and organisations across all levels of public service in Western Australia. A nomination tilted the ‘Establishment of SHOC’ is a finalist for ‘Best Practice in Collaboration between Government and any other Organisation’. The nomination recognises the strong partnerships built across the not-for-profit, corporate and private sectors during the development and implementation of SHOC. The WA Virtual Emergency Department (WAVED) is a finalist for ‘Best Practice in Innovation’, recognising the service’s role in transforming how care is delivered to patients across Western Australia. WAVED enables patients to be seen virtually in the comfort of their own home when safe and appropriate to do so, rather than visiting an emergency department. Congratulations to all the teams involved! 👏 🔎 Learn more about SHOC and WAVED: https://bit.ly/4n5XXcy #IPAAWA #Innovation #Health #WA #WesternAustralia #Awards #Partnerships #Collaboration #WAVED #SHOC #PublicSector
