The following position is currently available: ✅ Senior Scientific Officer (PSO SC Level 3) The Environmental Health Directorate is seeking to appoint a senior scientific officer to support the functions of the Health Facility Air Handling and Water Quality Advisory Committee. The Senior Scientific Officer will oversee monitoring, management, and remedial action of air handling and warm water systems for Legionella spp., and water testing in water distribution systems for microbiological and chemical contaminants. In this role, you will liaise with and provide high level technical and regulatory advice to the Managing Scientist Water, Executive Director Environmental Health Directorate, the Department of Health, other Government departments, industry, professional stakeholders, and the public on environmental health water issues.
