The most crucial breakthrough here is the new asset reporting, which finally gives agencies KPI visibility beyond just impressions.

Across our agency, we have tested AI Max for several clients; it performed exceptionally well for some, while for others, the results weren’t as strong as we expected. With the new updates rolling out, we are hopeful that performance will become more consistent across all accounts.

AI Max assets are currently considerably weaker than anything we've seen a professional (or even amateur) write. But the increased visibility and reporting tools, as well as keyword expansion, make it usable as long as you don't opt into everything and provide sufficient guardrails. Especially for small businesses, the asset generation just isn't needed at scale. If you're an online store with hundreds or thousands of SKUs, this kind of implementation is much more attractive for testing purposes.
