Gail Tessler and Norma Menkin were best friends and business partners the moment they met 40+ years ago. Their instant deep friendship and business partnership inspired Gainor (Gail + Norma) - a women-owned firm committed to equal opportunity and changing the lives of candidates and business leaders.   Norma talks about Gail and their instant connection like it was yesterday - how they each wanted to have 2 kids and would plan their maternity leaves strategically. They were completely in sync personally and professionally, so obviously that they finished each other’s sentences. In 1982, it wasn’t easy for 2 women to start a business in New York City, and get the funding they needed, but their relationship enabled them to persevere through it all. Gainor was inspired by the life changing impact that a great fit can have when people are aligned with a role and a vision for a business.
