The YP Project is working closely with schools across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to support young people in navigating relationships with confidence and care. We’re helping young people recognise what respect feels like, so they know what they deserve. Through assemblies and workshops with Year 5 to Year 13, we explore: • Healthy relationships • Consent and communication • Boundaries and emotional safety • Confidence and self esteem • Positive masculinity and challenging harmful narratives These sessions encourage open discussion and practical skills that young people can use in their daily interactions, friendships and future relationships. This work is strengthening school cultures and supporting safer communities. More information https://lnkd.in/e2u7i7RH

HIPPY (Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters) is proving that when you invest in parents, you transform entire families—and create ripple effects that extend far beyond early education. The model recognises that parents are already their child's first teacher, then provides them with the resources, training, and confidence to excel in that role. What stands out in these Perth family stories is how a strengths-based approach—one that trusts parents and meets them where they are—creates transformation that educational programs alone cannot achieve. When a former teacher says the program helped her rediscover her confidence, or a new migrant describes finding both practical support and genuine community, we're seeing evidence of holistic family support that addresses multiple barriers simultaneously.
