Today, Earthna hosted the opening of a two-day regional workshop for the Blue Economies for Coastal Resilience (BEFCR) programme. Phase 1 of the BEFCR is led in strategic partnership between the MENA Oceans Initiative by Goumbook and Qatar Foundation’s Earthna. The workshop marks the first step in developing the upcoming BEFCR Landscape Analysis and Outlook Review, setting the stage for a shared vision and technical framework while fostering cross-sector collaboration towards resilient, inclusive, and nature-positive coastal development across the MENA region. Attendees included leading regional experts in ocean governance, policy, finance, infrastructure, ecosystem management, and innovation. Day one featured roundtables, sectoral breakout groups, and methodology co-design sessions focused on mapping sector maturity phases and pillars, and defining the scope and methodologies for the forthcoming report. في خطوة جديدة لتعزيز التعاون الإقليمي في مجال الاقتصاد الأزرق، استضاف مركز إرثنا اليوم الورشة الإقليمية لبرنامج الاقتصاد الأزرق لتعزيز قدرة السواحل على الصمود (BEFCR)، التي تُعقد على مدى يومين بالشراكة مع مبادرة محيطات الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا (MENA Oceans) التابعة لGoumbook  تركز الورشة على تطوير التحليل الإقليمي والتقرير التوقعي لبرنامج BEFCR ، بوصفها الخطوة الأولى نحو بناء رؤية مشتركة وإطار منهجي متكامل يربط بين الخبرات والقطاعات المختلفة لدعم تنمية ساحلية أكثر مرونة وشمولية عبر المنطقة. وشارك في فعاليات اليوم الأول خبراء إقليميون من مجالات الحوكمة والسياسات والتمويل والبنية التحتية وإدارة النظم البيئية والابتكار، ضمن جلسات تشاركية ومجموعات عمل قطاعية ناقشت مراحل نضوج القطاعات ومنهجيات إعداد التقرير القادم.
