Last Friday at The Affair For Air Gala, the American Lung Association honored CVS Health with the Landmark for Lung Health Award. The award recognizes our 10-year milestone of removing tobacco from store shelves, as well as our continued commitment to helping people quit tobacco for good. “We know there’s strength in togetherness, and that’s why we support ALA’s mission, research, and advocacy, which ultimately saves lives,” said Dr. David Fairchild, MD, MPH, Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Retail Health, who received the award on behalf of CVS Health. #TeamCVS offers smoking cessation products, services, and specialized programs in-person and online through CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic that are designed to help people quit and receive ongoing support.
