Cossill & Webley Consulting Engineers’ Post

Cossill & Webley was proud to support the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA)'s Greenfield Market Insights luncheon, with our Director Avril Thomson presenting on the panel, alongside Colin Keane, Nigel Satterley and Samantha Thompson. We agree with forecasts from Colin that WA land sales will continue to be strong and supply constraints will likely impact housing supply and affordability. The luncheon highlighted the urgent need to address the challenge with a comprehensive strategy that integrates planning, infrastructure needs, environmental constraints and developer intentions. The “how” requires a collective effort from government stakeholders and industry with a solution-oriented mindset to navigate the complexities of the planning and development framework. At Cossill & Webley, we are dedicated to tackling complex challenges and fostering collaborative efforts to increase housing availability in Perth. By embracing innovation and a proactive mindset, we can collectively shape a vibrant and sustainable future for our growing city. #UrbanDevelopment #PerthHousing #SustainableCities #HousingAffordability #EngineeringExcellence #Innovation
