At Cossill & Webley’s recent Technical Discussion Session, our own Matt Hansen along with the assistance of Daniel Nguyen (CW’s Data Scientist) presented to the CW staff the latest information in relation to civil works costs across the Perth Metro area. The presentation included a history of the civil works costs over recent years and the current costs for Power, Sewer and Water Infrastructure, as well as Major Intersections and Corridor Cost per Lot. With over 60 active projects and more than 100 progress payment claims processed by the CW Perth office every month, this represents a considerable amount of data for which we collect and analyse to ensure all our Engineers have a solid understanding of the cost fluctuations on our current and likely future Development projects. Naturally, access to this data also assists with the accuracy of our Opinion of Probable Cost Estimates.
