This is a quick demonstration of wired up motor control system, of a non-reversing conveyor belt with a jog select and remote push button. I learned how to wire this system up so that when jog mode is selected, the conveyor will operate only when the run push button is pressed continuously and stops as soon as the run button is let go. And when run mode is selected the conveyor will move automatically until you press the stop button. These practical exercises can be challenging at first to figure out what connections need to be made, while also navigating how to properly wire without blowing a fuse. The hands on learning really helps to build confidence so that when I am out in the field I have prior knowledge to rely on.
